The Clean River Campaign is in line with the Clean City Competition Mechanism which had been in place since 2011 and the evaluation mechanism focuses on Clean City Standard.

This agreement ceremony aims to promote clean cities, tourism, and river-free garbage in order to improve the well-being of the people and tourists to contribute to the improvement of the national economy by collecting waste from rivers and seas by using new German technology raising awareness of the environmental pollution to provide the waste management infrastructure, especially the destination location is river and seas.
